We are looking for someone who wants to be part of shaping tomorrow's Ale. With us, you will help deliver services and support of the highest quality to the residents of Ale. Together, 2,500 employees create an Ale, a municipality that focuses on residents and their needs. Become one of us! About the Workplace Daily activities in Ale Municipality are mainly based in Älvängen and consist of several different programs with different orientations and targeting different levels of support needs. Daily activities work to support all individuals in developing and having the opportunity to try various tasks and occupations, both internally and in collaboration with the working world. The work requires the ability to work independently and to cooperate in a group. Job Duties There is a range of job duties within daily activities, and all programs should have a clear connection to performing work or work-like tasks. Since we work with many different individuals with varying support needs, the work will include certain care-oriented tasks such as those common in LSS work. Working with various forms of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) is an important part of the job, as is having knowledge and experience in low-intensity behavior support (LIBS). Ongoing documentation is part of daily work. As a permanent employee with us, you will have a contact person role, which involves creating implementation plans that describe how we support the individual toward a comprehensible and meaningful daily life. User-focused work is central, but other tasks such as ombudsman roles and areas of responsibility are included in our services. We see a need in our programs for employees who enjoy taking on practical tasks and appreciate varied work. This could be anything from fixing and painting fences, arts and culture engagement, or a particular drive to organize café activities. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a positive view of people and who believes in every individual's potential for development and participation in society. Education such as the healthcare and social care program or the children and recreation program provides basic qualifications to work as a support assistant. To work within daily activities, we view it as meritorious if you have other areas of interest or professions in your CV. Well-documented knowledge of methods for communication and support within LSS (LIBS, AAC, etc.) is meritorious. Experience in supporting individuals toward employment or development-oriented coaching is also meritorious. We consider it most important that you take responsibility for your work tasks and are a respectful colleague who wants to work toward the program's forward-looking goals. To be able to work with us, we see it as a necessity that you have a driver's license. Other Information Prior to employment, a police criminal record excerpt is required, and you must present valid ID (passport or international ID card). You can find the application form here: Request an Excerpt from the Criminal Record | Swedish Police Authority We conduct interviews continuously during the application period, so don't delay submitting your application! Our values are based on taking responsibility together and building trust.
