Special Education Teacher for Grades F-3 with a particular focus on mathematics

We are seeking an engaged and development-oriented special education teacher for Dackeskolan F-6. With us, you will become a key person in the work of ensuring that all F-3 students receive the right support at the right time and are given the conditions to achieve as much as possible in their knowledge development.
The position has a particular focus on mathematics development but also includes work with reading, writing, and language development.
About the position
As a special education teacher at Dackeskolan F-6, you work both in close contact with students and strategically. You are responsible for identifying students' needs, analyzing results, and together with teachers, student health services, and school leadership, developing instruction and support measures that lead to increased goal attainment.
You will, among other things:
spearhead development work in mathematics and reading, writing, and language development
coach and support teachers on matters related to instruction, adaptations, and special support
conduct assessments, screenings, and pedagogical evaluations
analyze results at the individual, group, and school level
plan, implement, and follow up on special education interventions
ensure that early and preventive measures are implemented
participate in investigations regarding special support
create, follow up on, and evaluate intervention plans
participate in the school's student health team
actively contribute to the school's systematic quality work
We are looking for someone who
is a certified teacher with a special education teacher qualification
has experience working in early school years
has strong competence in mathematics development and early mathematics interventions
has knowledge of reading, writing, and language development
is experienced in analyzing results and translating them into concrete measures
has strong knowledge of school legislation, curriculum, and work with accommodations, special support, and intervention plans
has good collaboration skills and enjoys working together with teachers, student health services, and guardians
