Controller for Peab Asfalt and Swerock

Would you like to use your analytical skills to make a difference in an operation where decisions are made close to projects, facilities, and people? We are now looking for a controller in a broad role that will work both toward Region Syd within Peab Asfalt and Swerock Sverige as well as together with the responsible controller at the national level. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create clarity, drive follow-up, and contribute insights that help the business make better decisions. You will be a close support to managers and you will also work closely with the regional controller and responsible controllers at the national level. In the role, you will, among other things: Be an appreciated support and business partner to the business's managers Prepare, quality assure, and explain monthly financial statements, forecasts, reports, and financial decision-making materials Analyze results, key figures, and trends – and translate them into concrete recommendations Contribute to safe, unified, and business-oriented reporting in accordance with the Group's regulations Participate in developing working methods, economic processes, and system support that make everyday work simpler and more efficient We believe you have an academic degree in economics, preferably as a certified accountant (civilekonom), and at least three to five years of experience in business controlling. You are confident in accounting, experienced in working with analysis, and have very good Excel skills. If you have experience from construction, contracting, or industry, that is a merit – but most importantly, you want to understand the business behind the numbers and contribute to developing it. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and curious. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating, building trust, and making economics understandable to others. You thrive best when you can alternate between detailed analysis and dialogue with the business – and when you see that your work leads to better decisions, stronger follow-up, and concrete development. The placement location is Helsingborg. The role involves travel within the region, which gives you the opportunity to get close to the operations, build relationships, and understand our business in practice.
