About the Role
This is a broad and operations-focused role where business controlling and production controlling meet. The role is part of the finance department and reports directly to the Finance Manager. You will become an important partner to production managers, the finance department, and the sales organization, helping them understand, follow up on, and develop the business from a financial perspective. The role involves great variety where you are expected to take own initiatives when you identify deviations or improvement opportunities. You are not expected just to report numbers, but also to understand the causes behind them and contribute to creating change.
Example Areas of Responsibility
Monitor production, capacity utilization, and financial results
Ensure correct inventory valuation and analyze and explain deviations
Support sales with analysis of price, volume, product and customer profitability
Identify improvement areas and initiate activities for increased efficiency
Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPI structures
Drive and coordinate cross-functional analyses between finance, production, and sales
Contribute to digitalization, automation, and development of finance processes
Who We Are Looking For
We believe you have a few years of experience as a Business Controller, Production Controller, or in a similar operations-focused controller role within manufacturing or process industry. You are motivated by combining analysis, business understanding, and operational development.
You have an academic education in finance or equivalent and feel confident in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis work. You are experienced in ERP systems and have good Excel skills as well as preferably experience with BI and reporting tools.
