Controller / Economist – Upcoming Consulting Assignments Are you a controller or economist open to new consulting assignments? We are now building a strong network of qualified finance professionals for upcoming longer consulting assignments with our clients. We seek junior, experienced, and senior profiles and would like to get in touch with you who are ready for the next step. About the Opportunities Assignments exist within public sector operations, municipal companies, and other larger organizations. Content, length, and scope vary depending on the assignment. It can range from operational financial management and monitoring to qualified analysis, budgeting, and forecasting work. Both employment with the client and assignments through your own company can become relevant depending on the assignment's nature and your own preferences. Examples of Work Tasks Budget, forecast, monitoring, and financial analysis Monthly and annual financial statements and reporting Operations management, key metrics, and decision support materials Cost, revenue, and variance analyses Support to managers, projects, and operations on financial matters Development of financial processes, models, and reports Work in financial systems, Excel, and when necessary BI/analysis tools We Seek You Who Have relevant education in finance or equivalent competence through work experience Have experience with financial work at a level corresponding to your current seniority Are analytical, structured, and accustomed to working with quality in figures and materials Can clearly describe your previous assignments and areas of responsibility in your CV Are open to consulting assignments with varying start dates, lengths, and scopes Merits Experience from municipality, region, state operations, or municipal company Experience as a business controller, operations controller, financial controller, project controller, or qualified economist System experience from, for example, Unit4/Agresso, Raindance, Visma, ERP systems, Power BI, or similar Experience working closely with managers, management groups, or operations managers Ability to work on-site in Gävleborg when an assignment requires it Workplace and Arrangement Workplace, degree of remote work, and travel vary between assignments. The client is particularly interested in candidates who live in or can travel to Gävleborg, but also welcomes candidates from other parts of Sweden for assignments with hybrid or remote arrangements.
