We are seeking an experienced controller for a consulting assignment at 80% with immediate start. You will become an important part of a professional organization within the public sector, where you will work closely with management, economists, and controllers in a broad and development-oriented role.
About the Role
In this role, you are responsible for driving, coordinating, and developing financial work. You work both operatively and strategically with budget, forecasts, follow-up, appropriations and cost allocations, as well as reporting. You also serve as financial support to management and prepare analyses and decision-making materials for discussions and decisions.
Your responsibilities include:
Develop guidelines and materials for budgets and forecasts
Conduct follow-ups and financial reporting
Provide strategic financial support to management
Prepare impact analyses and professional financial statements
Drive and coordinate financial development initiatives
Manage major purchases and procurements
Contribute to other administration and handling
The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with both central finance functions and economists and controllers within the organization. You therefore need to be able to communicate financial information clearly and pedagogically, both in figures and in written materials to management and the board.
We are Looking for You if You Have:
Financial education at post-secondary level or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience working as a controller
Good skills in MS Office or equivalent
Experience with analysis tools and accounting systems
Experience in state accounting, preferably from a university or college
Very good Swedish in speech and writing
As a person, you are analytical, communicative, and confident working independently. You have the ability to shift between details and a holistic perspective and thrive in a role where finance, analysis, coordination, and development are combined.
