The Main Mission of Municipal Leadership provides support, service and management to the political leadership and all municipal operations. The main mission comprises centrally organized functions within administration, customer service, legal affairs, finance, facilities, HR, communications and digitalization. With specialist expertise and a holistic perspective, we lead and support Ängelholm Municipality. We coordinate, develop and drive municipal-wide processes and projects. Finance and Facilities are part of the Main Mission of Municipal Leadership and consist of five units: Budget and Quality, Facilities, Accounting, Land and Development, and Procurement. Budget and Quality are now seeking a controller for a permanent position. The unit works, among other things, to support the four main missions on various financial matters. This applies in particular to budget, forecast and annual report work. The unit consists of eight controllers, a quality developer and a budget manager. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES The job duties are broad within the finance area and involve primarily providing support to operational managers within part of the municipal organization. The work involves to a large extent working with budgets, follow-ups, forecasts and annual accounts/annual reports. You will work closely with the main mission's managers and other controllers in the unit. The work also includes investigations and various calculations of a financial nature. QUALIFICATIONS The job duties require that you have a finance education at university level and it is an asset if you have worked with similar duties in a municipal organization. The work also requires that you have analytical ability and can listen to the organization's needs and put this in a holistic context. Furthermore, you see connections between financial results and events in the organization. You should be a good educator in finance matters and have the ability to express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You are proactive and development-oriented, identifying needs and suggesting changes at an early stage. Your IT skills are high and you move freely between different systems and Office programs. You are particularly skilled in Excel where you work quickly and efficiently. The municipality also works in the finance system Raindance, the e-commerce system Proceedo and the decision support system Hypergene. It is therefore an asset if you have experience with these or similar systems. The work involves many contacts and therefore you must be comfortable collaborating and building good relationships and have good consulting skills. You should be used to working independently and have the ability to take responsibility and own initiatives. The workload will vary throughout the year and you must be able to handle deadlines even when the workload is higher. Employment form: Permanent position.
