CAD Drafter Mechanic

PEAL AB designs, manufactures, assembles, and commissions complete packaging lines for medium-heavy industry. We develop documentation for steel, pneumatics, and control systems. We work with numerous proprietary products that we design and manufacture in-house. Several machines from European suppliers are assembled with our products. WHO ARE YOU? We're looking for someone who: • Has at least a 4-year technical upper secondary education with a focus on mechanics. • Has good knowledge of machine design and a basic understanding of structural calculations. Knowledge of electrical and/or pneumatics is a plus. It's also an advantage if you have practical experience in a manufacturing operation, as a technician or similar. • Has experience working in some CAD program and it's meriting if you have experience with IronCad. Your general computer skills are good. • Speak and write Swedish and as the work involves international contacts, it requires that you also feel comfortable communicating in English. WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU? Take the opportunity to work and develop at PEAL. Here you will work in a broad role that includes design, production planning, and documentation development. Mechanical finishing in the workshop also occurs. You will work at our office in Helsingborg where production is also located. A total of 6 people work at PEAL. YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES • Draw customized machine solutions using our product range. • Manage the entire production planning process (development of drawings in IronCad). Development of user instructions, product manuals, and similar documentation are also part of your responsibilities. • Ensure that products meet basic requirements according to specific standards. • CE process and documentation. • Mechanical finishing where applicable. • Ensure that documentation is generated within given timeframes. • Work is carried out in project form and also involves customer contact.
