Job Information Professionals Nord is seeking a senior construction project manager on behalf of AFRY. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for AFRY for 12 months. The intention is that you could eventually become directly employed by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Responsibilities In your role as senior construction project manager, you are responsible for leading and driving construction projects in industry. You have a central role in project implementation and work closely with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure that projects are delivered according to set objectives. Examples of responsibilities: Lead and drive construction projects through all project phases Manage planning, follow-up, and execution of projects regarding time, quality, and finances Coordinate and lead dialogue between clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders Work with business acumen by developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the company's continued development We are Looking for You We believe your personal qualities are decisive for how well you will thrive in the role at AFRY. We are seeking someone with solid experience in construction project management in industry who enjoys leading complex projects and teams. You have at least a degree in civil engineering or equivalent, as well as broad experience from the construction industry. We would like to see that you have previously worked as a project manager, contractor, consultant, BAS-P/BAS-U, client, or in a similar role. You have good market knowledge, a strong network, and are motivated by developing both business and operations. As a person you are driven, engaged, and have a natural ability to build trust. You are responsive, diplomatic, and enjoy collaboration while maintaining a clear results focus. You are business-minded, communicative, and understand the importance of the consultant role in client relations. The role involves travel when needed, which means you are flexible and comfortable working in different locations for periods.
