The unit works with new construction projects and renovation projects of municipal facilities, infrastructure projects, and land for business and residential purposes. The unit is also responsible for the purchase and sale of land for various purposes, signing of land allocation agreements, development agreements, and dialogue with property developers, entrepreneurs, and others. GIS coordination for the municipal group, surveying, and municipal land management are also part of the unit's responsibilities. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a construction project manager who wants to drive projects within community development. The role includes planning, leading, and executing construction projects of various sizes and complexity, from pre-study and design to implementation and final inspection. Being a construction project manager at the Land and Development Unit means extensive collaboration and cooperation with other departments, such as the Planning Unit, the Property Department, and the Street/Park Department, municipal companies, and other operations within the municipality. You are responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out according to budget, schedule, safety, quality, and environmental requirements. You will: • Drive multiple projects from start to finish in parallel, while handling other assignments and tasks that the role involves. • Procure contractors and other suppliers in accordance with LOU and follow up on their work. • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute your expertise in construction matters. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have knowledge within community development and can complement our team with your experience and personality. • Relevant education in construction production, building design, building technology, roads and water, or other equivalent education. • Experience in driving projects from start to finish within construction. • Knowledge of building technology, budgeting, design, and procurement. • You are confident in making decisions, curious, driven, and solution-focused. • You are flexible and adaptable and find it rewarding to work with new subject areas. • You have good communication skills and express yourself well in speech and writing. • You are a team player who values openness, collaboration, and accountability. Meritorious qualifications: • Knowledge of LOU • Experience in the role of client within the public sector Great weight is placed on personal suitability. A Category B driver's license (manual) is a requirement. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment.
