To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe the following applies to you: You have an academic degree in structural engineering or equivalent You have a few years of experience as a consultant in structural engineering You have an interest in complex and socially important buildings such as hospitals You want to develop in an international environment You have good collaboration skills and want to share your experiences and grow together with your colleagues. What You'll Do With Us Within the division, 17 structural engineers work with a focus on healthcare buildings across all regions of Sweden. We work with local clients but also support projects in other parts of the country. Project and development work is conducted closely with Ramboll's other structural engineers – a network of over one hundred experts who are more than willing to share their knowledge and experience. The team is currently based primarily in Stockholm and Nyköping, but contributes to projects across the country and globally. Within Healthcare, we possess broad and deep expertise. We work on major new construction projects as well as smaller and medium-sized renovations. We participate in our projects from early stages and strategic planning through design, implementation, and construction monitoring. As a structural engineer, you will work with: Design and dimensioning of load-bearing structures in complex hospital projects, in both early phases and detailed design Development of structural solutions with high requirements for function, robustness, flexibility, and life-cycle perspectives Coordination and technical dialogue with other disciplines in the project, such as architecture, installations, and operational planning Collaboration with colleagues in our global hospital group, both nationally and internationally, as well as with colleagues in building construction and other business areas within Ramboll.
