Description
More and more people want to build homes and establish businesses in Olofströms kommun. The pace will increase even further in the coming years when Sydostlänken construction begins, finally connecting the main railway line and Blekinge coastal railway. We are therefore seeking a self-driven building inspector who, together with our building permit officer, can manage building permits, inspections, and all related matters.
Responsibilities
Case management and supervision according to the Planning and Building Act.
Assist residents and businesses with information and advice.
Development projects within the Planning and Building Department.
System responsibility for the building register.
Some administrative tasks.
Other assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Relevant university education or training/competence that can be assessed as equivalent.
Experience as a building inspector or similar role.
Experience with permit and supervision cases and building technology.
Strong knowledge of the Planning and Building Act and its application.
Experience working in a politically governed organization.
Terms
Employment by agreement.
