About the Role As a building constructor at Kadesjös, you will be an important part of the design process in varied building projects within both residential and industrial construction. You are responsible for converting technical requirements and ideas into well-thought-out structural solutions through modeling, drawing production, and technical calculations. The role involves close collaboration with experienced project managers and assignment managers, where you contribute your technical expertise throughout the design process. Example Work Tasks Design and model building structures in Tekla Structures and Revit Produce structural drawings and work with 3D modeling throughout the design process Perform technical calculations and dimensioning within building construction using calculation software Work on varied projects within both residential construction and the industrial segment Contribute to structural work from design to finished documentation for production Collaborate in project groups together with project managers and assignment managers to ensure quality and progress Participate in projects of varying scope, from short-term assignments to multi-year projects Operate from the office in close collaboration with colleagues, with the possibility of customer contact and site visits as experience and project needs develop Work in a developing environment where each project offers new technical challenges and learning opportunities Required Qualifications Degree in Building Technology with a focus on structural design or Civil Engineering degree Experience designing and modeling in Revit and Tekla Structures Good understanding of building construction and the construction process At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in building design or construction Category B driver's license Good knowledge of Excel and the rest of the Office package Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing Residing in or with the ability to commute to Västerås and surrounding area Meritorious Experience performing technical calculations within building or construction areas Good experience using calculation software, for example FEM-Design or equivalent Practically inclined with good understanding of how structural solutions function in reality About You To thrive in this role, we see that you are an unpretentious team player who enjoys collaboration and knowledge exchange.
