Piteå Health Center has approximately 10,100 registered citizens and is one of Region Norrbotten's largest health centers. Child health services are an important part of our operations where we follow children and families from their earliest years. We are now seeking a district nurse or child health nurse for our child health services who wants to promote children's health, development, and wellbeing together with families and colleagues. What we are looking for We are seeking you as a licensed nurse with specialist education as a district nurse or child health nurse with good computer skills and strong knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form at minimum C1 level, as well as experience as a nurse. Advantageous qualifications include advanced training in child health services, experience with the Cosmic medical records system, and experience in child health services. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. As a person, you have a genuine interest in children's development and family health, enjoy working independently while appreciating close teamwork. What you will be working with As a nurse in our child health services, you will work to promote children's health and development through health visits, vaccinations, health examinations, and parental support according to national guidelines and the National Child Health Handbook. You will be responsible for your own list of children and families and follow them over time. The work is performed independently but in close collaboration with your colleague, the child health physician, and other professionals at the health center.
