CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER
WORK LOCATION: VIDZEMES REGION SMILTENE BRANCH

We expect from you:
• First-level higher education in the road construction field or second-level higher education in a related engineering studies program (construction practice certificate will be considered an advantage);
• Experience in work management in road maintenance or construction;
• Knowledge of road construction technological processes, building material properties, existing building material range and systems;
• Knowledge of work technology and organization, ability to apply construction standards and other related regulatory acts;
• Ability to organize work, make decisions quickly and responsibly, analyze situations;
• Ability to organize a team and delegate tasks;
• Ability to apply MS Office programs in work: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Positive attitude toward work, orderliness, precision, economic thinking and high sense of responsibility;
• State language proficiency according to the requirements set in the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia;
• Category "B" driver's license.
You will be entrusted with:
• Leading and coordinating road maintenance, care, repair and construction work, observing technical specifications and other regulatory acts;
• Monitoring the quality of completed work, performing measurements to determine volumes, documenting them, maintaining records of all completed work in accounting systems, work journals, reports and other documents;
• Controlling expenditures, preparing reports and other execution documents;
• During winter season, performing the duties of winter service information and operational duty officer (responsible person for initiating, organizing and executing winter service operations on state roads in the territory of the district).
