CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
WORK LOCATION: KURZEME REGION TALSI BRANCH, K.MĪLENBAHA IELA 25, TALSI, LV-3201
We expect from you:
• First-level higher education in the road sector or second-level higher education in a related engineering study program (road practice certificate will be considered an advantage);
• Experience in work management in road maintenance or construction;
• Knowledge of road construction technological processes, building material properties, available building material range and systems;
• Knowledge of the technology and organization of the work to be performed, ability to apply construction standards and other related regulatory acts;
• Ability to organize work, make quick and responsible decisions, analyze situations;
• Ability to organize a team and delegate tasks;
• Ability to use MS Office programs in work: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Positive attitude toward work, orderliness, accuracy, economic thinking and a high sense of responsibility;
• Knowledge of the state language in accordance with requirements set in the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia;
• Category "B" driver's license.
You will be entrusted with:
• Leading and coordinating road maintenance, care, repair and construction work, observing technical specifications and other regulatory acts;
• Monitoring the quality of completed work, performing measurements to determine volumes, documenting them, maintaining records of all completed work and entries in accounting systems, work journals, reports, and other documents;
• Controlling expenses, preparing reports and other implementation documents;
• During the winter season, fulfilling the duties of winter service information and operational duty officer (responsible person for initiating, organizing and performing winter service operations on state roads in the territory of the district).
