Retail Sales Associate at Specsavers

We are now looking for a retail sales associate who wants to join the team at Specsavers. The position is full-time and permanent with a 6-month trial period. Start date is flexible and will be arranged by agreement, preferably between October 1st and November 1st, 2026.
Store hours are Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 and Saturdays 10:00–15:00. We follow the Handels collective agreement.
Work is on a rotating schedule with shifts on weekdays and every other weekend.
Your responsibilities
You don't need any prior experience in optometry – we provide thorough training through hands-on learning in the store combined with digital courses. After your introduction, you'll become an important part of the customer experience in the store, where you welcome customers, explain the importance of eye exams, and tell customers about the Specsavers concept and offers. You help customers find the right frames, lenses, or contact lenses based on the optometrist's recommendations and ensure that every customer leaves satisfied and wants to return, while also being an ambassador for Specsavers' mission to make better eye health accessible to all.
We are looking for someone who:
Is engaged, customer-focused, and ready to take responsibility
Has experience from the service industry, preferably retail
Has experience from the optometry industry, which is an asset
Is social and finds it easy to build good customer relationships
Has a strong sales drive and enjoys working actively toward sales targets and results
Is flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Learn new things easily and want to develop in your role
Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
