Nordsjö Idé & Design is part of AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings and consists of 90 stores across Sweden – from Trelleborg in the south to Kiruna in the north. The majority of stores are operated by entrepreneurs within our franchise concept, while a smaller number are owned and operated by AkzoNobel. Are you interested in paint, interior design, and sales? We are now recruiting an engaged store sales associate for our store in Malmö. Here you will work in an inspiring environment where you meet both consumers and professional painters, providing advice on products, colors, and material selection. With us, you will become part of a knowledgeable and dedicated team with a strong interest in paint and customer interactions. In this role, you work with sales and advice for both private customers and professional painters. Our range includes paint, wallpaper, work tools, spackle, and other products for home and painting. The work is varied and includes: sales, customer service, and advice order handling and goods picking store displays and restocking guidance on products, colors, and material selection work to create a welcoming and inspiring store environment We also offer a service called Style Advice, where you help customers make thoughtful color and material choices through personal consultation and customer visits. An interest in color, style, and design is therefore a major plus. This is a one-year temporary position at 90% employment level, based in Malmö, starting immediately. Working hours follow store opening times and are scheduled between 06:30 and 18:00 on weekdays and 09:00–14:00 on Saturdays. You will report to store manager Goran Radisic. Who are you? We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a role where service and sales are a natural part of daily work. You are attentive, responsible, and committed to creating a good experience for both customers and colleagues. You thrive in an environment where you can take own initiative and where commitment and collaboration are important parts of the work. You have experience in service or sales, preferably in the paint, construction, or interior design industry. Experience in sales to professional painters or other tradespeople is a merit. You feel confident working with different types of customers and have both interest and willingness to develop your knowledge of our products and methods.
