Coop's size and negotiating power contribute to our fair prices and really great deals and campaigns in our stores every week. We are now seeking a Store Manager for our X:-tra Emmaboda store. As Store Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of the store, such as customer satisfaction, sales, operations, results, personnel, and change initiatives in the store. You have a genuine interest in people and service, and the most central part of your role will be to create energy and engagement among your team members to offer the best possible store. Your work includes: Lead sales work together with other responsible parties Create a sales-oriented and inspiring environment in the store Work with various customer activities Represent X:-tra in the local market to customers Ensure daily operations – staffing, supply of goods, price maintenance, etc. Respond for budget and business plan for the unit Initiate, lead and drive various initiatives to improve profitability and results Coach employees to achieve increased sales, results and customer satisfaction Respond for ongoing personnel work such as work distribution, skills development, introduction of new employees, employee meetings, compliance with routines and regulations, etc. Ensure that Coop's sustainability policy is complied with This is a permanent full-time position, 40 h/week. We work with trial employment. Education High school education is a requirement Post-secondary education or university is a merit Experience/Competence The position requires broad experience and competence in retail sales Documented good results in retail sales Documented experience of leading improvement work Documented experience of leading personnel is a merit The pace in the store will be very high, which is why stress tolerance and planning ability are important qualities.
