Pasago is a Danish, fast-growing company in the gold trade and valuables sector that will open its first Swedish store in Västerås in fall 2026.
Pasago is an established gold buying and pawn bank chain with a modern, secure, and customer-focused business model. The company also operates NordiskGuld.se, where individuals can easily and securely sell their gold. Now Pasago is taking the next step and establishing its gold buying operations in Sweden, focusing on buying and valuing gold, jewelry, and other valuables.
We are looking for a confident, driven, and business-oriented Store Manager who wants to be part of it from the very beginning and build the operation together with us. This is a role for someone who thrives in an environment where a lot is happening, where you have great opportunities to influence both work methods and customer experience, and where you simultaneously get to be a central part of the company's establishment and future expansion in Sweden. The position should be filled immediately or by agreement.
About the role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a secure and professional store environment where customers feel welcome and valued. You will initially work alone in the store and have broad responsibility, from daily operations to gold valuation and structure building. Training in gold valuation is provided by experienced colleagues, and clear processes are in place.
As the business grows, you will be responsible for recruiting and building your own team at the store. You will play an important role in developing Pasago's presence in the Swedish market.
Your areas of responsibility
Build the store's routines, processes, and work methods from the start.
Meet with customers and conduct tests, valuations, and purchases of gold.
Ensure that all routines comply with applicable regulations, including AML/KYC.
Create a secure, accessible, and professional customer experience.
Drive sales, monitor key metrics, and take full responsibility for the store's results.
Recruit and develop staff as the store grows.
Contribute to establishing additional stores in Sweden over time.
We are looking for you who
Have experience in store operations and preferably leadership in a retail environment.
Are accustomed to working in roles with significant responsibility and customer contact.
Are organized, thorough, and confident in following routines and processes.
Have good administrative skills and basic financial understanding.
Are self-driven, take initiative, and thrive with broad responsibility.
Have high integrity and a professional demeanor.
Experience from pawn banks, gold/jewelry, or premium retail is advantageous but not required.
