ABOUT THE STORE Pingstkykan in Helsingborg operates, in collaboration with PMU (Pentecostal Mission Development Cooperation), PMU Second Hand Helsingborg. The work is rooted in Christian values and is part of the Helsingborg Pentecostal Church's activities. The store's purpose is to generate financial surplus for social and humanitarian efforts both locally through the Pentecostal Church's social work and internationally through development and humanitarian projects run by PMU and partly by the church. Another part of our mission is to actively make a difference for our environment. Second hand is the environmentally smart choice when it comes to consumption. We also want to provide employment opportunities for people outside the regular job market by being a place for people in various forms of work training. ABOUT THE POSITION This is a temporary position as store manager at 100% for the period December 1, 2026 - August 31, 2027. You are responsible for leading, distributing, and coordinating the store's daily operations and sales. The role is very hands-on, where through your own execution of the work you also mentor and develop others. The role also involves actively recruiting government-placed participants and volunteers and conducting site visits and follow-ups with participants from external partners. As store manager, you are ultimately responsible when the operations manager is not present. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a person who is passionate about sales, sees opportunities, and is driven by creating results. You have a natural business mindset and understand what makes customers want to come in, shop, and return. You see potential in the merchandise we receive and know how assortment, pricing, presentation, and customer service can be used to increase sales. Your interpersonal skills are very important and we will consider personal suitability. You are open and professional in your manner and you have a good ability to develop and mentor people based on their individual circumstances. You would enjoy sharing our Christian faith and what it means to work in close collaboration with a church community.
