Since Hemköp Stockholm City is a flagship store within the chain, both internally and externally, it is important that in your role as Store Manager you understand the importance of being an ambassador – both for the store and for Hemköp as a chain. Main responsibilities Your main responsibility as Store Manager is to continue developing the store into an inspiring and pleasant workplace where the customer is at the center and where you together create customer value and additional sales. In the role as Store Manager of the large store in Stockholm City you will also represent Hemköp and Axfood in various contexts where you are expected to take initiative and come up with ideas to drive the chain and group forward. In combination with this, you shall through your management team and approximately 100 employees ensure a high operational level, a strong customer experience and that all employees enjoy working in the store. You should have great commitment and drive to make the Hemköp chain grow, not just operate within the store's walls but collaborate with various functions within the group on various projects and initiatives. An important part of your job will be to ensure that your management team collaborates and develops and that your employees enjoy their work, grow and contribute to a positive customer experience. As Store Manager you will have overall responsibility for the store and for realizing the business concept and financial targets. This role gives you interesting, stimulating and developing work where you get the opportunity to influence and help shape the store's future development. The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting after summer. A probationary period applies. Working hours are primarily scheduled for daytime on weekdays, where evening and weekend work can occur when needed. What we expect from you That you are a relationship builder and team player with great commitment to creating a profitable and pleasant store and workplace. That you are also interested in food, good at driving sales and enjoy working with people is a prerequisite for the role. You also need to have good leadership qualities with previous experience from a corresponding role that has included leading other leaders. You should be accustomed and comfortable having both personnel and budget responsibility where experience from grocery retail is a requirement. You have a good way with people, both employees and customers, where you are skilled at building long-term relationships and creating trust. Furthermore, you are responsible, action-oriented and have a positive attitude. This means, among other things, that you solve problems when they arise, but also that you have the ability to capture and implement improvement suggestions. That you are communicative and clear is fundamental in the role and that you have a coaching and supportive approach. You should also enjoy when the pace is high and have an eye for both details and the bigger picture, with focus on the overall and the organizational. You should have the ability and enjoy quickly resolving situations that arise in the store with short notice. And have a good balance between ongoing work tasks and long-term projects and strategies to shape the store's continued development and profitability.
