About the Role Do you want to work with automation that goes beyond individual bots and automated tasks? We're looking for a Business Process Automation Developer who wants to develop complete business processes – from requirements and technical solution to implementation, deployment, and ongoing development. You will build end-to-end processes in a BPM or workflow platform where people, business rules, data, and multiple different systems need to work together. This could include processes with user tasks, forms, decisions, integrations, wait times, deadlines, and alternative process paths. You'll work closely with the Delivery Lead, process owners, the business, and technical teams to translate business needs into stable and maintainable solutions. This is a hands-on developer role for someone who enjoys the combination of technology, problem-solving, and understanding how a business actually works. Key Responsibilities You will, among other things: • Design and implement end-to-end processes in a BPM or workflow platform. • Develop process flows with, for example, statuses, forms, user tasks, approvals, and system activities. • Build business rules, decision logic, deadlines, reminders, and escalations. • Integrate process solutions with other systems via, for example, APIs and databases. • Handle validation, error handling, retries, alternative process paths, and logging. • Ensure roles, permissions, and access controls. • Test complete process flows and their various components. • Support deployment, configuration, and version management across development, test, and production environments. • Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve solutions in production. • Document solutions and collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, integration developers, testers, and operations teams. Your Profile What matters most to us is not how many years you've worked or exactly which BPM platform you've used. However, you need to have been actively involved in the practical implementation of at least one meaningful end-to-end business process in a BPM or workflow platform. You should be able to describe the process, which platform was used, what you yourself developed, and how the solution worked from start to finish. We're looking for you who have: • Practical experience with BPM, workflow automation, or equivalent process automation. • Experience developing solutions with multiple process steps or states. • Understanding of the interaction between automated activities and human tasks. • Experience with, for example, forms, approvals, task assignment, business rules, or conditional routing. • Experience with integrations to other systems. • Understanding of APIs, for example REST, and structured data formats such as JSON. • Experience with databases or other structured data. • Understanding of testing, troubleshooting, error handling, logging, and monitoring. • Good general developer understanding and knowledge of, for example, variables, data types, conditions, loops, and reusable components. • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. It's a plus if you have experience with: • Decisions, for example Flows, Rules, Forms, REST integrations, or deployment. • Appian, Pega, Camunda, IBM Business Automation Workflow, Bizagi, Bonita, or another comparable BPM or workflow platform. • BPMN or DMN. • SQL, SOAP, or XML. • Case management or long-running and more complex process flows. • The combination of BPM and RPA. • Business-critical automation solutions in production. • Relevant training or certification in BPM or Decisions. You don't need to have experience in all of the plus areas above. What's important is that you meet the core requirements in practical BPM or workflow development and have a solid technical foundation.
