Do you want to work close to research and development and contribute with financial insights? Tikk Takk is seeking a Business Controller for a consulting assignment with our client in Södertälje.
About the Assignment
In this role, you will be an important business partner to managers within research and development, R&D. You will support the operation with financial analysis, economic management, and decision-making materials that contribute to well-founded prioritizations and improved results.
You will report to the Head of R&D Controlling and actively participate in management groups. The work involves close collaboration with R&D, other controlling functions, and stakeholders in an international organization.
Your main responsibilities:
- Work with financial planning, budgets, and forecasts.
- Develop financial analyses, business calculations, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
- Monitor key metrics and compile and present financial results.
- Support R&D leaders in strategic decisions, financial prioritizations, and business monitoring.
- Contribute to the development of processes, methods, and tools for controlling within R&D.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is analytical, business-oriented, and confident in translating financial data into concrete recommendations. You have high integrity and build trust through a structured approach and clear communication.
You are curious about technology, products, and operations and want to understand what drives success in research and development. You enjoy collaborating across functional boundaries and have an interest in electrification, battery technology, and the transition within the commercial vehicle industry.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Master's degree or equivalent engineering degree in economics, business administration, industrial economics, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in Business Controlling, preferably five years or more.
- Experience supporting senior decision-makers and management groups in a complex, international environment.
- Ability to translate financial analyses into insights and measures that improve business results.
- Excellent analytical and digital skills and advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Very good English language skills, both spoken and written.
Experience with SAP is highly desirable. Knowledge of Swedish is also an advantage.
Scope and Location
- Assignment type: Consulting assignment through Tikk Takk.
- Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Location: Södertälje (listed under Stockholm), hybrid with three days per week on-site.
- Start: By agreement.
- Assignment end date: December 31, 2026.
- Interview: Conducted preferably on-site.
