Would you like an independent job where there's an opportunity to work in Fridays periodically? Don't miss the chance to become a well driller at Malmberg!
What will you do with us?
As a well driller, you work with both large and small drilling rigs and use different drilling techniques to create wells for energy and water.
No drilling site is the same, and conditions vary from assignment to assignment. Therefore, you need to be creative, solution-oriented, and comfortable finding solutions to the challenges that arise. The work can also be physically demanding since it's performed outdoors year-round. The role also includes some service and maintenance of our drilling rigs.
Work takes place on site, primarily in southern Sweden, but assignments in other parts of the country can also occur. When you're at the customer, you represent Malmberg and meet municipalities, major property owners, construction companies, and industries. The position involves travel, both shorter and longer distances, and to make it easier, you'll have your own service vehicle that you take from home. When you're not working in the field, your workplace is our headquarters in Yngsjö.
Qualifications
You'll become part of a tight-knit team where you support and help each other in daily work. To thrive and succeed in the role of well driller, we see that you:
enjoy physical work.
are responsible and can work independently.
are outgoing and have a service-oriented approach with the customer in focus.
have a B driver's license. C or CE driver's license is a merit.
have experience with welding in carbon steel and stainless steel (merit).
have well driller certification or education as a drilling technician (merit).
At Malmberg, we work for a safe, good, and drug-free work environment. Final candidates for the position will therefore be asked to present an extract from the criminal record, undergo a drug and alcohol test, and if applicable be offered a health examination through our occupational health services. We will also conduct a credit check for certain positions.
