About the role As a fire protection technician at Presto, you play an important role in contributing to a safer society. You work closely with our customers and are responsible for servicing, inspecting, maintaining, and upgrading shelters according to applicable regulations and standards. The role also includes work with other types of fire protection, such as fire extinguishers, defibrillators, smoke vents, and fixtures, providing a varied and developmental workday. 🧯 Your main focus is to deliver, install, and set up shelter equipment and ensure that shelters meet all required standards. You complete assignments with high quality, on time, and within budget. The role involves great variety as you meet customers in different environments and industries. 🚗 Most of your working time is spent at customer locations, where you plan and carry out your assignments. The remaining time consists of planning, scheduling, and administrative tasks that you manage yourself. To thrive in the role, you need to be self-driven, organized, and able to take personal responsibility for your workday. 🤝 You plan and carry out your assignments with the customer in focus, and help customers identify and address any gaps in their fire protection.
