The WorkplaceAt Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, approximately 1500 people work with nuclear power production. Falck Rescue Services has 22 permanent employees responsible for fire protection through preventive and remedial work. We have 5 daytime fire safety technicians who, among other things, are responsible for SBA work, and four shift-based groups with a Fire Chief and three firefighters in each group who, in addition to operational rescue services, work largely with supervision and fire prevention.
About the RoleYour tasks as a firefighter consist of conducting operational rescue services, systematic fire safety work (SBA), training, fire service assignments, and maintaining order and cleanliness at the fire station and training ground.
Qualifications
Trained firefighter through completed GRIB, Rescue Operations, SMO training, or equivalent earlier training
Category C driver's license

OtherAssignment of temporary positions will take place on an ongoing basis and includes temporary work during regular staff leave/vacation in June, July, and August 2027. After the summer, an evaluation will be conducted and there may be opportunities for continued temporary work both daytime and shift.
Placement is in Forsmark in one of our four shift teams.
The recruitment process includes:
Drug testing for the workplace and background check against the criminal records register are required for work at a nuclear power plant, as Falck's guidelines are that you are drug-free and have no criminal record.
Physical and medical tests with requirements for satisfactory results. The tests are conducted in accordance with regulations for smoke and chemical diving (AFS 2007:7 and AFS 2019:3) updated with the new regulation AFS 2023:13.
