As a fire inspector with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute safety and risk perspectives to this development and help shape a secure future society. We are now looking for someone for the role of fire inspector who wants to contribute to a goal-oriented and engaged operation. With us, you will be part of an organization with about 200 employees who work daily with fire and rescue services, regulatory authority, advisory services, training, crime prevention and emergency preparedness. WORK TASKS You will be part of the Advisory and Regulatory Authority unit, where fire inspectors and fire engineers work together on issues that strengthen safety in our four municipalities. The work is varied and combines regulatory authority, advisory services, information and development issues within the organization. Depending on your background and expertise, there is also the opportunity to participate in various projects and collaboration forums. Your primary work tasks include: • Inspection according to the Act on Protection against Accidents (LSO) • Advisory services and information to businesses, citizens and other actors Other tasks that may be added: • Inspection and permit handling according to the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods (LBE) • Review and statements in building matters and building technical fire safety issues • Referral handling related to urban planning and detailed plans • Collaboration with municipalities, authorities and external partners • Participation in development work, projects and networks within the fire service's preventive activities QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who Have a genuine interest in safety issues, societal development and the fire service's preventive mission. You have: • A degree in Protection against Accidents (SMO), a fire engineering degree including supplementary training in fire services (RUB) or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing • Good computer skills • Category B driving license It is meriting if you have • Experience with inspection and regulatory authority • Training in Inspection A and/or Inspection B through MSB or MCF • Experience from building projects, urban planning or building technical fire safety • Experience with permit handling according to LBE • Experience from public sector activities or fire services • Knowledge of working in the Daedalos system Personal qualities To thrive with us, we believe you appreciate work where you can combine independence with collaboration.
