In our client's fire safety group in the Stockholm region, you'll work broadly with fire safety engineering alongside experienced colleagues in a flat organization. Here you'll quickly gain your own responsibility and excellent opportunities to grow toward a project management role. About the Role As a fire safety engineer, you'll become part of our client's fire safety group, working with building fire protection in projects of varying sizes – from smaller assignments to large industrial projects. You'll work closely with clients and other disciplines, ensure that fire safety requirements are met according to applicable laws and guidelines, and progressively have the opportunity to grow into a project management role. Your introduction will take place on-site with support from a mentor and your immediate manager. Key Responsibilities • Fire safety engineering and fire protection descriptions in projects ranging from smaller assignments to large industrial projects • Drawings, calculations, and technical support on matters relating to fire protection and evacuation safety • Ensure that fire safety requirements are met according to laws, standards, and guidelines • Close collaboration with fire safety engineers, designers, and other disciplines, as well as client contact • Progressively increased responsibility, with the opportunity to grow toward a project management role About You You are driven and curious, with a desire to continually learn more within your field. You are social and easy to talk with, enjoy collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines, and are comfortable with extensive client contact. We're Looking for Someone Who Has • Completed university education as a fire safety engineer • At least 1 year of experience working with fire safety matters, for example as a fire safety engineer, fire safety consultant, or project manager • Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written Merits • Experience from consulting, rescue services, or government agency • Experience with client contact, project management, larger industrial projects, or interdisciplinary work About Our Client Our client is one of Europe's leading engineering, design, and consulting companies with approximately 16,000 employees and a strong position in the Swedish market. The fire safety group is located in Stockholm/Solna, Uppsala, and Norrköping and consists of approximately seven experienced fire safety consultants working with building fire protection – everything from hospitals and industries to residential care facilities and offices.
