As a resident manager, your primary task is to be there for our tenants – listen, guide, solve problems, and contribute to a safe and pleasant living environment. AF Bostäder is one of Sweden's largest student housing companies, with 6,200 apartments in central Lund. We own, manage, and develop good and affordable housing for active Lund students. The apartments should be pleasant, sustainably built for the long term, and contribute to both Lund's development and a vibrant city landscape. Your Role as Resident Manager Your role is about being the face of AF Bostäder, with a focus on service and presence in our student areas. You: Have daily contact with Swedish and international students and build long-term relationships. Help students in their daily lives by answering questions, providing practical assistance, and carrying out repairs. Handle inspections at move-in and move-out, report faults, and manage disturbance cases. Ensure that our housing areas are safe and well-maintained. Collaborate with contractors and follow up that work is completed properly. Manage ongoing administration and hold responsibility for your own budget. Is This You? We're looking for someone who is passionate about service and building good relationships. Perhaps you have previous experience from service roles, the property management industry, or a position where you met people daily. We'd like to see that you: Are outgoing, communicative, and thrive in a social role. Have the ability to build trust and establish good relationships. Are solution-oriented and can handle different situations with calm and professionalism. Have a practical mindset – you don't need to be an expert, but you should enjoy it (we'll teach you what you need to know!). Requirements and Qualifications Experience from a role where customer contact and service have been central. Experience from the property management industry, for example as a property caretaker, building superintendent, or in other practical work. Fluent Swedish and good English (additional languages are a plus). Driver's license (Category B). Good computer skills. Upper secondary education.
