JOB DUTIES
We are looking for you to work as a housing support worker at Support Unit 8, which consists of two work teams that provide support to adults with psychiatric functional variations in regular housing. Most support is provided in the individual's home.
The work teams operate from Arabygatan in Växjö, and in our work we meet individuals with different needs for educational and social support services. We are tasked with strengthening the individual's ability to live an independent life and have broad knowledge about psychiatric functional variations. Our work is always based on experience and care.
As a housing support worker, you will work both independently and together with colleagues to provide support to people with psychiatric or neuropsychiatric functional variations. The support is designed and planned individually together with the individual. The services are both practical and educational in nature and are provided in the home and immediate surroundings. You are a social contact who creates security through your approach. Your duties also include support with household tasks, mail and document handling, and assistance with contacts with authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you to have a diploma from a healthcare and care program, children and leisure program, or other equivalent education totaling 200 vocational credits or 120 university credits. We would like to see that you have experience working with people with functional variations, have knowledge and experience working with low-affective approaches, handling aggressive situations, and experience documenting according to IBIC. You also have good knowledge of Swedish society and its various functions. For example, helping care recipients apply for financial assistance or other services.
As a person, you are flexible, responsive, treat others with warmth and respect, and thrive in a role where your work contributes to others' well-being. You must be able to work independently, take your own initiative, and at the same time be able to cooperate with other staff groups toward common goals. We also see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and computer skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
It is advantageous if you have worked with Lifecare and Lifecare planning.
Weekend and evening work occurs. A B driver's license is required and you must also be able to cycle.
