We are now recruiting a residential support worker to join our team at Nytida Tingbergsvägen. We offer training and a meaningful job where you make a difference! This is a part-time position at approximately 80%. About Tingbergsvägen Tingbergsvägen is a group home according to LSS in Lödöse for adults with autism and/or intellectual disabilities. We work with individual adaptations focusing on participation, independence and quality of life. The residence is located in a calm and nature-rich environment in Lödöse, with proximity to services, public transportation and great opportunities for outdoor activities. The facility is staffed 24/7 to provide residents with the support they need in their daily lives. Our work is based on Nytida's pedagogical framework with low-arousal interaction, clarifying pedagogy and AAC. Through security, structure and respectful interaction, we support residents to develop their abilities, make their own choices and live a meaningful life. About the role As a residential support worker, you work based on residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues, you work with the goal of making each day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are daytime, evening, weekends and on-call nights. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people and who wants to contribute to security, development and independence for the people we support. You are calm, responsible and have a professional approach. Experience working within LSS, care or social work is a merit. You will have a group leader or group manager close by who spends part of their time in the facility. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your experience and knowledge You have secondary education in health and care, pedagogy or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills and experience with documentation. It is a merit if you have experience working with this target group. Beyond this, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
