We are now seeking a residential support worker to join our team at Lokevägen. The operation is a home with special services according to the Social Services Act. About Lokevägen The operation provides housing with special services according to the Social Services Act for people with disabilities who have extensive needs for support, care, and guidance in their daily lives. The home is designed for people who need around-the-clock support and where their needs cannot be met through services in their own homes. We work based on an individually tailored and rehabilitative approach where each resident receives support according to their own needs, circumstances, and goals. The goal is to strengthen each individual's independence and participation in everyday life. Lokevägen has 15 apartments and is located in Upplands Väsby. We employ 5 permanent staff members and some temporary staff; a nurse is connected to the operation. About the Role As a residential support worker, you start from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life. In the operation, we use pedagogical and knowledge-based approaches to motivate, guide, and train skills that strengthen the individual's ability to live as independently as possible. Support is designed in close collaboration with the resident and aims to create security, influence, and the opportunity to live like others in society. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to a meaningful existence. This means working together with your colleagues to support residents in participating in leisure activities, developing their own interests, guidance in personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, etc. With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference every day by supporting people in their development and creating conditions for increased independence, participation, and quality of life. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are arranged for daytime, evening, weekends, and on-call sleep duty. You will have a group manager close by who spends part of their time working in the operation. Your Experience and Knowledge You have at least upper secondary education in care and health or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group (Social Psychiatry). You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and are responsible.
