WORK DUTIES
We are looking for you to work as a residential support worker at Support Unit 1, A-team, which is a work team providing support to adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities in ordinary housing.
A-team 1 operates from Arabygatan in Växjö and in our work we meet individuals with varying needs for educational and social support services. Our mission is to strengthen the individual's ability to live an independent life and we have extensive knowledge about psychiatric disabilities. Our work is always based on experience and care.
As a residential support worker, you will work mostly independently but also together with colleagues to provide support to people with psychiatric or neuropsychiatric disabilities. Support is designed and planned individually together with the individual. Services are of both a practical and educational nature and are carried out in the home and immediate surroundings. You are a social contact who creates security through your approach. Your work tasks also include support with household chores and participation in leisure activities, for example exercising at the gym.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree from a care and social work program, children and leisure program, or other equivalent education of 200 vocational college credits or 120 college credits. We would like you to have experience working with people with disabilities, knowledge and experience of working with low-affect interactions, and handling escalating situations. You also have good knowledge of Swedish society and its various functions.
As a person, you are flexible, responsive, treat others with warmth and respect, and thrive in a role where your work contributes to others' well-being. You must be able to work independently, take initiative, and at the same time be able to cooperate with other staff members toward common goals. We also see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and computer skills.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
A Class B driving license is required and you must also be able to cycle.
