Our operations are located in the scenic Dänningelanda, approximately 1 mile south of Växjö. In Dänningelanda we have several operations, but now we are looking for you to work at Ainagården, which is a group home with 6 places.
You should have an interest in providing care and support to residents who have various functional variations. The operation includes people with varying needs within psychiatry/autism spectrum/intellectual disability, as well as people who have significant care needs/use wheelchairs and who need support in all daily activities.
We are looking for 1-2 committed residential support workers who do everything to ensure that the residents at Ainagården feel satisfied and have a sense of participation in their daily lives. We want you to work using a low-arousal approach, be open to changes that occur in the operation, and be able to work together with your colleagues based on the routines and structures that exist in the workplace.
Employment: We offer a wellness allowance of 2500 kr/year. Start date November 2026 or by agreement. Position is approximately 80-90%. We use a 6-month probationary period and individual salary setting. We have a collective agreement with Kommunal.
Your assignment: You are responsible for, together with your colleagues, providing individually tailored support to the residents in all aspects of daily life to strengthen the resident's own ability. You shall assist the residents in daily tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and hygiene. You always start from each resident's individual needs and the right to self-determination. A large part of the work consists of, based on each resident's circumstances, contributing to the resident's independence and well-being. You should be active and enjoy planning and taking own initiatives with those living in the operation, and adapt your communication so that the residents at Ainagården feel that you understand and respect them.
The work involves administrative tasks such as social documentation, preparation of implementation plans, etc., which requires good computer skills.
You should have a professional yet close, motivating and reassuring approach to the residents you are responsible for. Our services involve work during day, evening, and weekends (separate night shifts). You will work according to a rotating 6-week schedule.
Qualifications: You are trained as a nursing assistant or have another equivalent education with a pedagogical focus. You should have good computer skills and experience with documentation. As a person, you are responsible, secure, committed, and have a positive attitude. You must have a B driving license. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Merits: Training or work experience in low-arousal approach - studio 3. Experience working within LSS. Experience working with clarifying pedagogy. Knowledge of documentation according to IBIC. Experience in care work. Experience with tube feeding.
