We are now seeking a Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR) for the Social Services Department. THIS IS WHAT YOUR WORK WILL INVOLVE As MAR in Flen municipality, you play a crucial role in ensuring our residents have the conditions to live as independently and meaningfully as possible. This is a newly created position based on legal requirements that took effect on July 1, 2026, giving you a unique opportunity to shape the function from the ground up. You will be our expert and guarantor that all rehabilitation services within the municipality's responsibility area maintain high medical quality, are safe, and are tailored to individual needs. Your assignment spans both strategic and operational matters. You have overall responsibility for developing and implementing guidelines that govern how we assess, plan, implement, and follow up on rehabilitation services. This means you continuously evaluate our methods to ensure we work based on evidence and with legal certainty. Collaboration is a central part of your daily work. You work in close dialogue with department heads and unit heads to support them in quality work, and you collaborate closely with our Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS). By investigating deviations, identifying risks, and driving improvement projects, you directly contribute to safe care and services where patient security is always the top priority. THIS ROLE REQUIRES THAT YOU: Are a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist, or equivalent as the employer deems equivalent. Have several years of experience in rehabilitation services within municipal health and medical care. Have good knowledge and experience of current legislation. Have experience working with quality assurance that governs operations within the board's responsibility area. Have a valid driver's license (Category B).
