Your Assignment
As an assistant unit manager, you will lead our social workers and create a work environment where employees feel security and professionalism in their role. The assignment combines strategic responsibility with presence in daily operations. The work takes place on-site to provide proximity to the team and the operations.
You will:
support and lead the team in daily work
ensure structure in team meetings and case reviews
provide support on matters concerning legislation, case handling, and BBIC
drive and contribute to development work that strengthens quality and learning
work to ensure that operations are cohesive and that silo thinking is minimized
manage personnel responsibility, budget, and work environment responsibility
Your Experience
For you to thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:
a degree in social work
experience as a manager with personnel and budget responsibility
several years of experience working with children and youth within social services
strong knowledge of relevant legislation and BBIC
