Welcome to us Our mission is to meet the individual's need for support services with the aim of contributing to increased independence based on the individual's circumstances. We place great emphasis on ensuring the individual's participation in designing the support service. We use the DUR investigation method. Our target group is people with disabilities aged 0-65 years. The Disability Services unit consists of a work team of 21 employees. 18 employees work as support services coordinators and we are divided into a children's group and an adult group. The unit also has a coordinator who provides support to families with children with disabilities, a group leader, and a unit manager. Read more about benefits in Stockholm city here: Your role As a support services coordinator, your tasks include: • Investigating and making decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS). • Following up on granted support services. • Planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work. • Contact with internal and external partners such as other social services, healthcare, rehabilitation, psychiatry, and the Social Insurance Agency. Your competence and experience We see that you have: • A degree in social work or other higher education that is assessed as equivalent by the employer. • Good knowledge of current legislation within LSS and/or SoL. • Very good communication skills in both speech and writing. It is meriting if you have: • Worked with authority functions. • Worked with support services coordination. The work is characterized by user focus, where we see that you have good conduct that can be adapted to the person you meet. You are communicative and solution-oriented in meeting with users, you see possibilities and are positive in your work. With good collaboration and cooperation skills, you easily build trusting relationships. You work both independently and in a structured manner by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work well. By creating good relationships, you also have the ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. As a person, you are calm, stable, and have the ability to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work and in meetings with people.
