JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The libraries in Höganäs are under the Culture and Recreation Department. In Höganäs municipality, there are six libraries, and this position is primarily at Lerbergets Library, but work at other libraries may also occur. Lerbergets Library is an integrated public and school library; this position is for the public library. As a librarian at Lerbergets Library, you will have an important role in developing the operations based on residents' needs. You work actively to make the library relevant and attractive to more people, strengthening the library's role as an open and inclusive meeting place. The work involves working strategically and practically with reading promotion for all ages, building and developing collaborations, and planning and implementing activities for different target groups. A large part of the position is staffing and other tasks that occur in a public library. Evening and weekend shifts are included. QUALIFICATIONS You have a master's or bachelor's degree in library and information science or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You should be creative, flexible, and service-oriented. We expect you to have good IT skills and to be interested in digital development. You enjoy collaborating and see it as a challenge to find new ways of working that develop the operations. You are solution-oriented and are not afraid to try new things. You turn ideas into action and have a genuine interest in working with reading promotion initiatives for all target groups. Full-time 100% Weekend and evening shifts are included.
