Bergianska botaniska trädgården is beautifully located on a peninsula in Brunnsviken within the Kungliga nationalstadsparken. The garden is operated by Stockholm University and is visited annually by approximately 150,000 people and 600 school groups. Edvard Andersons växthus is open to the public year-round. It is a living environment where you can walk between different continents and see plants from Mediterranean climates to tropical regions, distributed across seven different sections. Job Responsibilities The position primarily involves selling tickets and shop items, as well as answering questions and providing general assistance to all visitors. Qualifications You should be service-oriented and stress-resilient. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have computer skills. You are over 18 years old. Meritorious qualifications include Cash register experience. Language skills. Interest in and/or knowledge of botany and gardening. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have a sense of responsibility and an eye for what needs to be done, and are comfortable working both in a team and independently. About the Position The position is permanent part-time with a six-month probationary period. Working hours will primarily be on weekends, but weekdays may also occur, especially during summer and school breaks. The position is 8-16%, which corresponds to one to two weekends per month. The schedule is planned well in advance and working hours are 5-6 hours per day. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.
