As a lighting technician, you become an important part of our operations in the Jönköping area. You work with maintenance, troubleshooting, and renovation and new installation of outdoor lighting and lighting systems. Other electrical installations may also occur. The work is practical, varied, and independent. You collaborate closely with colleagues, project management, and customers, plan your tasks, and solve technical problems with a focus on safety, quality, and good service. Your main responsibilities Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of lighting systems. Renovation and new installation of outdoor lighting. Documentation and reporting of completed work. Daily contact and cooperation with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Planning and execution of work in accordance with applicable safety requirements and work methods. Position requirements Who are you? We're looking for someone who takes responsibility, works in a structured manner, and enjoys solving problems in the field. You contribute to good cooperation, treat customers professionally, and never compromise on safety. Since the work is largely independent, you need to be able to drive your assignments forward while knowing when to seek support from the team. You enjoy varied work where no two days are the same and you're comfortable working outdoors year-round. Work takes place in different environments and weather conditions, which requires flexibility, practical skills, and a positive attitude. To succeed in this role, you need to have Technical education at least at upper secondary school level, preferably in electrical, power, or other relevant technical fields, or equivalent work experience. Experience working in electrical, industrial, telecom, fiber, operations and maintenance, or other related technical fields. Driver's license category B, as travel is part of the job. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good IT skills and ability to document completed work. It's a plus if you have Experience working on or near road and traffic installations. Education in ESA and Work on Roads. Experience working from lifts or in traffic environments. Driver's license category C.
