As a capacity planner, you will work with planning and monitoring capacity utilization within your area of responsibility. You will work based on production schedules and play an important role in ensuring that the planning is feasible based on the company's capacity and conditions. The role involves many points of contact and you will work closely with section managers, team leaders, object planners, and production engineering. You need to be able to gather information from multiple functions, understand the company's conditions, and translate that information into functional planning. Your main responsibilities: Work with production schedules and capacity planning within your area of responsibility. Plan and monitor deliveries based on current planning. Monitor capacity utilization and identify deviations and needs for corrective actions. Collaborate with object planners and other functions to ensure functional planning. Maintain close contact with production and production engineering. Gather and compile information from different parts of the company. Read and understand production schedules and ensure that planning is current and feasible. Take on issues that arise and drive them forward together with relevant functions. Contribute to efficient planning within your area of responsibility. You do not need experience in planning the entire production flow. The focus of the role is on managing and monitoring planning within a specific area, with emphasis on capacity and utilization. Your Profile We are looking for someone with relevant background in areas such as logistics, planning, or production. You may have post-secondary education in the field, but we place great importance on your work experience and understanding of operations-related planning. We would like you to have: Experience from logistics, planning, production, or similar operations. Interest in technology and understanding of how a manufacturing operation works. Experience working with planning, monitoring, or deliveries. Good analytical skills and experience working systematically with information. Good computer skills and experience with, for example, Excel. Experience with IFS, Jira, Qlik Sense, or CPS is a merit. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are communicative, organized, and solution-oriented. You have an easy time collaborating with different functions and are confident in reaching out when something needs to be clarified. You take personal responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to independently drive work forward. To thrive in the role, you need to be curious and have an interest in understanding the company and the work being planned. You are analytical and thorough, but also decisive when the situation requires it. We are simply looking for someone who is engaged, unpretentious, and has a natural drive to make things work. The assignment length may vary but typically ranges between 6–12 months with good opportunities for extension, and over time the employment may potentially transition to Saab.
