Job Description SiS youth home Johannisberg is a maximum security institution beautifully located beside Kalixälven next to the peaceful residential area Grytnäs. The institution is in a development and expansion phase with ongoing work on increased staffing and security. Our target group in Kalix consists of boys 16 - 21 years old placed according to the Act on Closed Youth Care and the Act on Care of Young People. As a treatment pedagogue, you and your colleagues are responsible for ensuring that the young people living with us receive the security, care and treatment they need. With your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the fulfillment of treatment plans and documentation as well as maintaining safety for both young people and staff according to our routines. As a treatment pedagogue, you also help ensure that daily life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking and more. The work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. You must also have: At least 2 years of post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education that corresponds to this. The education must be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science or other relevant subject area.
