Hemstagården is a supported living facility for adult men aged 21 and older who struggle with substance abuse issues, mental health concerns, or other social challenges. The facility provides support tailored to each individual's needs and goals. Placements are made in close collaboration with the Adult Assessment Unit, where each person's situation and development needs are the focus. The residence has 23 places and operates according to a drug-free approach. You will meet a dedicated team of twelve colleagues, including a unit manager and coordinator. Operations run 24/7, with four staff members working nights and six staff members scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. As a staff member at Hemstagården, you become an important part of creating safety, structure, and conditions for positive change in people's lives. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a treatment assistant, you work closely with residents and provide practical, social, and motivational support in their daily lives. You contribute to creating safety, structure, and conditions for each person's development and independence. Job responsibilities include: • Supporting residents in daily activities and routines • Establishing, implementing, and following up on action plans • Working motivationally to strengthen each person's own resources and abilities • Collaborating with authorities, healthcare providers, and other partners • Managing situations requiring clarity, structure, and a low-affect approach • Documenting interventions according to applicable guidelines • Conducting drug screenings • The role also includes some involvement in kitchen duties and other practical tasks within the facility, where kitchen work comprises only a minor part of the position QUALIFICATIONS Formal Qualifications: • Education as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or treatment assistant • Experience with and knowledge of working with individuals who have substance abuse issues and/or mental health concerns • Category B driver's license • Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Merits: • Experience with MI (Motivational Interviewing) • Additional training in substance abuse and/or mental health issues We are looking for someone who is: • Secure and stable in yourself • Empathetic and respectful in your approach • Organized and responsible • Flexible and solution-focused • Able to motivate and guide others • Collaborative while able to work independently • Skilled at building relationships and communicating with the ability to create trust and safety Employment Type: Permanent position.
