Boat Metalworker with Aluminum Experience Needed Immediately MK Manning is now seeking experienced boat metalworkers / ship metalworkers with strong aluminum experience for immediate start on projects at various locations in Sweden. We are looking for someone who has previously worked with metalwork in the boat, ship, or shipyard industry and who especially has experience processing, fitting, and assembling aluminum structures. The work is conducted on a project basis and requires you to be able to work on a mobile basis. When working at another location, housing and meals are included. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: • Perform metalwork on boats, ships, and marine structures. • Work primarily with aluminum sheet and aluminum structures. • Manufacture, fit, straighten, and assemble sheet metal details and sections. • Measure, cut, shape, and process aluminum according to drawings. • Assemble and adapt structures directly on boats or ships. • Perform repair, rebuilding, and new production work. • Work according to drawings, measurements, and technical documentation. • Perform tacking and simple welding work where the job requires it. • Ensure that work meets the correct quality standards and complies with applicable safety requirements. We are looking for someone with • Documented experience as a boat metalworker, ship metalworker, or industrial metalworker. • Strong and documented experience working with aluminum. • Experience from shipyards, ship industry, boat production, or marine industry. • Experience with fitting, assembly, and processing of aluminum sheet metal. • Good ability to read and work according to drawings. • Good understanding of dimensioning and tolerances. • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work. • Good teamwork skills and a solution-oriented work approach. • Ability and willingness to work on a mobile basis. • B driver's license is a merit. Merits It is a merit if you also have: • Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding in aluminum. • Valid welding certifications for aluminum. • Experience from larger shipyards or new boat and ship construction. • Hot Work certification. • Safe Lifting certification. • Fall Protection training. • Truck or overhead crane certification.
