Boat Sheet Metal Worker with Aluminum Experience Needed Immediately MK Manning is now seeking experienced boat sheet metal workers / ship metal workers with strong aluminum experience for immediate start on projects at various locations throughout Sweden. We're looking for someone who has previously worked with sheet metal in the boat, ship, or shipyard industry and who, most importantly, has experience processing, fitting, and assembling aluminum structures. Work is conducted on a project basis and requires you to be able to work while traveling. When working in other locations, accommodation and meal allowances are included. Job Duties In this role, you will, among other things: • Perform sheet metal work on boats, ships, and marine structures. • Work primarily with aluminum sheet and aluminum structures. • Fabricate, fit, straighten, and assemble sheet metal parts and sections. • Measure, cut, shape, and process aluminum according to drawings. • Assemble and adapt structures directly on boats or ships. • Perform repair, modification, and new production work. • Work according to drawings, measurements, and technical documentation. • Perform tacking and simple welding work where the job requires it. • Ensure that work meets the correct quality standards and complies with applicable safety requirements. We're Looking for Someone Who Has • Documented experience as a boat sheet metal worker, ship metal worker, or industrial sheet metal worker. • Strong and documented experience working with aluminum. • Experience from shipyards, ship industry, boat production, or marine industry. • Experience fitting, assembling, and processing aluminum sheet metal. • Good ability to read and work from drawings. • Good understanding of dimensioning and tolerances. • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work. • Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented work approach. • Willingness and ability to work while traveling. B-class driver's license is an asset. Merits It's an asset if you also have: • Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding in aluminum. • Valid welding licenses for aluminum. • Experience from larger shipyards or new boat and ship construction. • Hot Work certification. • Safe Lifting certification. • Fall Protection training. • Truck or overhead crane license.
