The Education Department at Järfälla Municipality employs approximately 3,100 staff members across 39 preschools, 22 schools, gymnasium, adult education, and central administration. Ålsta Preschool and Elementary School is located in the expanding Barkarbystaden area. At the beginning of the 2023/24 school year, we moved into our newly built preschool/school. The preschool has existed since 2013 and has 195 children divided into 5 groups. Each group has a younger children's section and an older children's section that work together. The school section started in fall 2020 and has been developed gradually and is now a Grades F-6 school. The preschool and school share facilities and collaborate with the goal of creating continuity from 1-year-olds to middle school students. Our preschool/school has an on-site kitchen with a cook. We have close leadership from a principal and assistant principal who work together with the pedagogues toward ambitious goals with a clear vision. 4 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are seeking substitutes for hourly part-time employment. As a substitute at our preschool, you will be contacted to work when needed, filling in for regular staff during illness and leave. Additionally, there may be needs during extended leave periods or to strengthen child groups. Your assignment involves meeting all children with respect for their individuality and providing each child with the conditions to develop trust and confidence. All who work in the preschool must show respect for the individual and contribute to creating a democratic climate. You must collaborate with families and build trusting relationships with both parents and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS It is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. - We would like you to have experience from similar work. - You should be flexible, take initiative, and have a talent for collaborating and working well with children, colleagues, and guardians in a responsive and smooth manner, communicating and handling conflicts constructively. - You adapt easily to changing circumstances. You can quickly shift your perspective and approach. - You are positive, responsible, and engaged. - You remain calm and composed in stressful situations. You maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on what matters. - We place great importance on personal suitability for the substitute position. - We will conduct interviews and hire on an ongoing basis, and positions may be filled before the announcement closes. Merits: You are trained and experienced as a daycare worker. You have experience working with children with NPF diagnoses. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
