The Role of Childcare Worker with Us
Our preschool's education is built on our approach to children that means we are always close to the children to help, support, guide, and stimulate their development. We believe in learning through play and work intentionally with relational learning, guiding children in social interaction by respecting and listening to one another. Together with the preschool's other educators, you will work to ensure that the preschool's education is characterized by a pedagogy where care, nurturing, and learning form a whole. It is important that the preschool's teaching is fun, safe, and educational. It should also be filled with play and enthusiasm with planned activities both indoors and outdoors to stimulate children's language, empathy, and motor skills.
The preschool's child health team, consisting of a special education teacher and preschool director, supports the preschool's educators through guidance and coaching.
Your Profile
We strive to find a person with the right combination of personality and competence. You are flexible and collaborate easily. You have an accommodating and attentive approach in your interactions with colleagues, children, and guardians. You build new working relationships easily and are good at maintaining the ones you already have. You are not afraid to try new methods and approaches, and can prioritize and plan your work effectively. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
We are looking for you if you:
are trained as a childcare worker or have equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent
have experience working at a preschool

The Department for Preschool and Primary School encompasses several educational activities as well as a central function for administration, planning, and development. Our goal is to provide children and young people with the best possible conditions for inspiring and long-term learning in a safe environment.
Allmogevägen Preschool is centrally located in Kungsbacka and belongs to the central pedagogical area. The preschool organizes education in two nearby buildings with smaller groups of children, and teaching is conducted in 6 smaller groups for most of the day.

Our Offer and Other Information
We offer a time-limited full-time position with employment beginning by agreement through March 2027, with potential for extension.
