We at the maternity department in Gävle are looking for you to make a difference for our parents and their newborns. Here, at a department with approximately 1400 deliveries per year, you will work in a modern and well-equipped environment with six delivery rooms, three rooms for outpatient patients, and three antenatal beds. With a coordinator on all our day shifts, you will receive support and structure in your daily work so you can focus on what matters most—giving every woman and family a safe delivery experience. Welcome to join us! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At the maternity department, we work together to give every pregnant woman the best experience during delivery. We strive for high presence and always have two midwives present during the expulsion stage, while actively working to minimize separations and ensure family unity. Our well-developed collaboration with the neonatal department makes us a team that truly puts the patient's needs in focus. Your main responsibilities will be to • manage both normal and high-risk deliveries in close collaboration with physicians and nursing assistants • provide high-quality antenatal and outpatient care • provide delivery care where you support the woman and her partner for a safe and secure delivery • mentor and develop others in the profession • perform documentation, CTG interpretation, and reporting directly at the bedside • work with telephone advice to provide support to our patients.
