We are seeking an experienced midwife for a maternity ward at a major hospital in Sweden. The department has an established way of working with clear procedures and an experienced team, where the focus is on safe and secure care throughout the delivery process. This position is ideal for you if you want to work in a stable environment with good structure and the opportunity for continuity in your work. Responsibilities As a midwife on the maternity ward, you are responsible for: Independent management of normal deliveries Monitoring of mother and baby during delivery Identification and initial management of deviations Support and guidance to the laboring person and relatives Collaboration with doctors, nursing assistants, and other team members Documentation according to current guidelines Work Environment You work in a team with experienced colleagues where: Clear procedures and working methods are established Patient safety and quality are central parts of the work Communication and collaboration are prioritized in daily work Orientation is provided based on your experience to ensure a smooth start. Scope and Structure Scope: Full-time or part-time Working hours: Day, evening, and night shifts according to schedule Assignment period: According to agreement with possibility for extension Start: According to agreement Planning takes place in dialogue to create a sustainable arrangement.
